The United States has warned Iran not to launch satellites, but Iran is still in the fight and Iran has failed.

Tehran has recently launched a satellite made locally in Payam but has failed to reach the orbit of the planet. Iranian state television quoted Sputnik as saying on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Iran's state-run television, on the sidelines of Iran's telecom minister Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi, said the launch of the Payam satellite by the rocket was successful. Phases 1 and 2, but it failed in the third phase, unable to enter the orbit of the earth.

Earlier in January, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Iran could face sanctions if it does not want to cancel its plan to launch the satellite. The United States has argued that it is a violation of UN Security Council resolutions.
